Default New 6.0L setup..

I'll be picking up an LQ4 block here soon. Trying to do this somewhat on a budget.. what do you think

LQ4 stock bottom end with rod bolts
L92 Heads
220/224 .575/.575 (so I can reuse from my 5.3)
L76 Intake
1 3/4 in longtubes w 3in collectors

Any ideas what kind of power it will make?

Is there a reason you arent going with the 1 7/8" headers? Im wondering what kind of transmission and rear are you using if its not going to replace the motor in the setup in your sig.. in any case i think you should use the 5.3 (and have them ported) heads if you're not going forced induction. I cant give you a number but it sure will be fun!

Seems like to me it would be a lot easier to reach the power potential im seeking (400whp) with a 6.0 and L92 heads as they flow so much more. The current setup made 321/312 at the wheels corrected.

400rwhp is an easy goal... My c5 just made 400rwhp with an ls1 intake/317 heads/tsp 1 3/4 longtubes.... I kno I'm choking the motor right now lol... But I'm shooting for 480-500rwhp on my lq4 with some tsp ported l92 heads and ls3 intake mani.

Just know for future reference that with the 4" bore and big *** intake valve on the ls3 style heads is going to limit your cam selection, ptv clearance, and ability to mill for compression

Even though that's a small cam you should make 400+ easily with the 1 3/4 LT's. It will be a great driver with stump pulling RWT. You could get by with a 2800 stall.

Just my $.02
