New here been tossing around the idea of swapping my Windsor out for a ls motor. Well the day other I bought a 03 120k 4.8 for 300$ not to bad I guess. Gonna be goin turbo BW 76 with a small shot of n2o blow thru carb not sure on what cam yet I have faceplated 5spd that will stay in the car as well. Pics to come soon

Doesn't make a lot of sense to go blowthrough carb.

Take out old technology, go newer block, take off fuel injection, go carb, then turbo. Would have much better street manners, tunability and driveability with fuel injection.

To each his own I jus like the blow thru I'll keep all the FI incase I change my mind. Stock 5.3 besides valve springs blow thru eBay turbo 2 weeks ago ran 6.0 ill be happy with a mid 6 5spd it's ridiculous how well these motors are with a little boost

What kind of carb were you using? I hear CSU makes some badass units. You could buy a converted harness and have it tuned for the cost of the carb alone.
