Great place to start! This is a nice clean canvas, lots of these done. Check the stickies for proven combinations and have fun.

Thanks for the feedback! I know there is alot of them on here but guaranteed to be something different in a good way I tend to think a bit outside the box.

well I thought I would throw out some details of the build and what my intentions are. here goes remember E.rodz IS NOT A BUSINESS! it is just a build cool **** shop and have fun with it everyone keep pushing me to go into this full-time but the problem is I just love this kind of thing and I don't want to lose that. I figured if I am doing it for people all the time the fun would fade fast especially if I can't go play with the cars when I am done. Unlike other great builders out there I really enjoy driving them as well. There is were the big American dream came in and I thought building ten cars in a row and eventually selling them after they are dialed in and pushed like a car should be. The first one was a 81 chevy custom pick up that was my everyday work truck gone mad!. sold at barret jackson back in 2006 since the I have been collecting a bunch of cool car I would like to see done to the max. and building a shop more functional to do it in the 63 be lair was going to be #2 in the series of ten but after pressure washing it and cleaning the mice out I figured even though the Belair was pretty far along I decided to keep driving the belair while I work on the chevelle that way I can always have a driver while one is down! that made sense to me just one problem now I am building 2 at once. thus the sub title go for broke. want to see more please post up I would love to here what you think.

Very cool...I actually saw today sitting outside an old service station on the
southside of Milwaukee...a white 70 malibu wagon with wood grain and a
luggage rack. It was about as clean (solid) as yours and I thought exactly
as you do...how awesome would that be with an LS transplant....

I know what you are talking about. My brother in law and I had a fairly successful shop some years ago. The shop turned out some pretty famous cars as well as several magazine features. Pretty soon the fun turns into more stressful work related to telling people that the cost of their dream far exceeds their budget. We sold off to the staff and now we both just do our own thing for fun.
As far as ARShaleTarga and the wagon, I just love them as well, had a 66 Tempest that I never got to drive, another customer had to have it more than I did.
This Chevelle will be a blast to build and drive, I am happy to provide any input you wish.

Most surely the least fun part. Do you plan to keep the AC in the car?

I'm doing a '69 Chevelle and it is in a similar torn down state as yours.

Are you planning to change the interior color?

the garage is just something that me and my son cooked up in our little heads and did some freestyle creativity. here is a link to the garage build.http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=48204

Wear gloves and a respirator when dealing with mouse urine, droppings and things that have been in contact with them. http://www.cdc.gov/rodents/diseases/direct.html
Cool car, looks like a pretty solid place to start. I have piles of that same suspension crap in my garage too, don't think anybody really wants it.

I know how bad that stuff can be . but nothing that throwing everything away can't take care of. I tried to get rid of the mice for years poison, I think they got stronger from it, traps caught a few in the summer then stunk the whole car up with death and decomposition .I could not ever get rid of them tell now. rip everything out and start over !!!! stay tuned for more chevelle madness!
