It could be a number of things. It could be a lean spike from the nitrous getting to the plate quicker than the fuel, it could be the spark blowing out depending on plugs and gap of plugs, it could be a weak solenoid not opening all the way.

Give us a little more information. What is done to the car, are the lines long the go from the solenoid to the plate, what plugs are in the car?

its a bolt on , cammed , ls3 , br8ef plugs 035 gap . the line are less then a foot long . i thinkin its a lean spike. but unsure. holley fuel rails. hsw noids are a bit old but seem to work well. anyway to check them? on that note what will the hsw noids flow? they are the bottom exit style noids. 400? need to know for progressive shot.

i made my own lines they are 4 an inside dia. the line from the bottle is like 18' and i had to loop it a few times cause it was to long.

ty guys for the replies.

neal u have helped me a ton along the way man. every ? i have had u helped. all my orders for future stuff will be with u guys. best of both worlds great product and great service.

How is it wired? Are you running a relay? You could be getting a voltage drop causing the hesitation.

8s are a little cold on the plug for 150 but shouldn't cause a problem. you could gap those plugs down a little to around .032. It might help but i don't think that it would cause the hesitation from the beginning. Usually it would be throughout the engine power-band.

some of the older solenoids are not good for ethanol blends. Depending on how old the solenoid is, you could be experiencing some swelling on the piston seal. This could hinder the flow slightly.

Something you might try is shortening the fuel line as much as possible or adding a little length to the nitrous one to offset the lean spike. Some HSW plates were know for lean spikes with the 360 degree spray patten. HSW did try to correct this with putting a 1 ft fuel line with a 3 foot nitrous line between solenoid and the plate.

also my bottle pressure was a bit low. 500 lb maybe even less , just thought about that. would that have something to do with it?
yes its got a relay. its wired like the nos launcher and lnc-2000 require

that could cause some problems. Have you measured the bottle weight to see how much nitrous you have left in the bottle.
