Default Twin Turbo Set up

I am going to try this in January when I get some school loans, has anybody tried this set up from UPP? If so, like to know some information on how it went. Far as tuning and if my ls1 can handle it, it just has H/C/I, nothing else internally.

Dude, there are a couple of things that I would address before doing this. One big one I noticed was the valley vent going to atmosphere. That is crankcase pressure and oil mist will come out of there. Plus it will allow debris to get into your crankcase as well.
Also, use copper anti-seize on all of your fasteners if you want them to come off later on.

I know it works with the Post 9/11, idk about Montgomery. and Disclaimer, I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice so don't do actually this.

Obviously go to the VA certification office and fill out the forms to use your G.I. Bill.

Fill out the FAFSA, this will make you eligible for subsidized student loans, Pell Grant, any grants your university might give away, and is used to calculate need for scholarships. When you fill it out you are an independent no matter what your living situation is. I moved back in with my family to save money (Can have a car payment or an apartment payment, but not both lol) however the FAFSA rules consider anyone who served in the military to be an independent for purposes of financial aid. See #6: http://www.fafsa.com/understanding-f...fsa-dependency.

So now you have a situation where you are an independent for purposes of the FAFSA meaning your family's income is no longer used to calculate you EFC (Estimated Family Contribution) regardless of your actual situation. Now the school will only use your income to estimate how much aid you can receive. Here's the cool part, income from the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill is not income. It is a living stipend and not taxable and so not included in the calculations neither is VA Disability, so despite the fact that you're taking home $1400 a month from Post 9/11, plus book stipends, and whatever % you take home from the VA compensation, it looks like you make 0$ to them (assuming you don't also have a job). They will of course give you Pell Grant, School Grants and let you take the maximum of subsidized loans ($3500 as a Freshman, $4500 as a Sophomore, $5500 as a Junior and Senior).

So now let's say between loans, grants, and any scholarships you may have won, the school is going to reimburse you several thousand dollars. That is not tax free money. That money counts as income, unless it falls under education expenses for students that you claim at the end of the year. Guess what's included in expenses for students? Food, books, supplies, etc. Keep all your receipts for food, books, etc, claim them at the end of the year; pay taxes only on what you make from a job. At least that's my understanding of what's going on, but it has been a year since I filed.

Taking a loan to pay for car mods means your priorities are truly screwed up...I don't care what kind of loan it is and what you did to get it.
