5.3L into a 2wd s10 blazer help/advice needed.
i got a line on a super clean 2002 2dr 2wd blazer that has a blown up motor.
my thoughts are buy this and hopefully swap in a near stock 5.3/6.0L and have it just as reliable as a stock blazer. looking to have a "factory style" install. i would need everything to work like it did stock. a/c, PS, ABS, ect... all the creature comforts.
i searched this conversions forum for a while, but didnt see a whole bunch of info on where to get mounts, what headers to use, what harness is near a plug and play, and so on...
thanks!

Take a look at s10forum.com look at the LS swap section. This is my next project, 4.8 or 5.3 into my 2000 S10 2wd. There are also several swaps detailed here, search s10 swap.

thanks, i signed up on there and found this thread with a bunch of infomation:
http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f213/l...mation-390967/
ill have to do some reading and calling around for prices on the parts needed for the swap.
i want to have everything planned out before i actually pull the trigger on this thing, im sure the plug and play harness will set me back a decent amount.
