They are either 317 heads and someone mistook them for 243s, or they are 243 heads and someone mistook them for 317.

What do the casting marks say on them?

A lot of times the valve job will make the chambers bigger. My 241's ended up at 69cc after the valve job and blending.

Just CC'd my 799's and measured 67 CC's. I believe they have the same size combustion chambers?

Yup,

Actually, Phil's work advertised the ability to raise the compression etc with little milling by the work done in the chamber. The heads could have had the valves sucked back for PTV clearence and the chambers could have been cleaned up. I would trust what they say on them, but I would also check PTV clearance anyways.
