04 duramax unknown

Ok so was in town last night with the girlfriend and I pull to a stop a light this guy in this duramax pulls up and just stares at us, well the light turned green I take off casually and he floors it out of nowhere so I do the same and start to pull him and he puts hand out window an gives thumbs up an we come to an the next light turns red so no winner h4 duraha. This time I was ready I look over an he has a couple buddies with him, so the light turns green I jumped out a half car on him, I look in my mirror and he was about 3-3 1/2 cars before I let off, he goes flying by and yells something but couldn't hear or understand him haha. Idk what he had done I'm assuming he was stock and thought he had the fastest thing in the world.

they can be fast , and esp off the line in 4wd . i have a bud with an 06 with some mods , not a ton and his runs 12.8 at 103-105 range .
