Default Power Steering Rack under a V8. Will a light car one work?

I am looking for a relatively narrow rear steer power steering rack for my 1975 MB sedan LR4 swap. I am wondering if just about any power rack will have enough power assist to work under a V8. Or should I stick with something that was under a V8 in the first place? Any ideas?

You won't be adding that much weight. Just run what fits. More turns to lock will make for easier (but slower) steering.

For reference, my LSx 300ZX has a gutted factory PS rack. Its a bit heavy to park, but nothing unbearable. I prefer it to my stock Zs with PS.
