Corvette Performance - more 2005 Corvette photos

There were two 2005 Corvettes at the Houston Auto Show this past week. Here are some shots I snapped. That blue convertible sure looks nice! I like the new design, but not enough to go "holy crap I have to have one!".

eeh...? :zzz: 'Bout as exciting as the new Vipers. The ttop models do add a few more curves but the verts are just toooo plain in my opinion. Especially if you look at this pic http://www.ls1tech.com/misc/C6_06.JPG ....it just looks like a touring/cruising car. Not something that says, " I'm gonna kick your @ss up one side and down the other".

Outside of the C5-R, 60s Grand Sports and the likes, i dont think the Corvette has ever really had that "im gonna kick your ass..." attitude. C5s really got that aerodynamic, sleek, sexy line back that they lost from the mid 70s till 97 imo. And the C6 touchs on the C5 lines in good and bad ways.

That Sunset Orange pic is badass! Thats definatly going to be a head tuner, kinda like Aztec Gold. Cant wait to actually see them in person tho.

Holy crap I have to have one.....Seriously, I do think the ZO6 FRC bodystyle had the I'm gonna kick you ass look to it. Hopefully the C6 version will have it also.

Those are some good pics. One day I'm going to download all of the pics I took at the car show...LOL.
The front end looks too much like a Mazda to me, but I still like the car. Of course I am biast. ;) I am not running out to get one, but the 500 hp Z06 has my attention.
I have finally decided after seeing them in person that I am going to keep my 03 and make it have 500 hp! A heads/cam combo with full exhaust should do it. :devil:
