I would... in a heartbeat.
Helped a friend with a tuneup on his tt496 bbc a while back... 14 psi blowthru carb on methanol... static comp was 12.8:1.
Keep you IAT's in check with an air to water intercooler and 11:1 would be very doable on gas.
Its really more about dynamic comp than it is static thou.....
Is 11:1 realky all that high if the motor only cranks 160 or 170 psi???
One of my cam customers puts 34 psi of boost on a motor that will pump 210. C16 of course.

Lol its funny how just 2-3 years ago people where saying o no it will blow up before you get it down your street, (one of my first builds i helped on 11.1)
same thing with 4 bolt heads and stock engines.
Times have changed... But my opinion for op. Yes i would on e85 or better fuel

11:1 static compression here and 8.8:1 dynamic. I have over 8,000 boosted miles on my ls1 which made 444 rwhp before the turbo, around 133,000 miles total. I run pump gas + meth and usually around 6-8lbs of boost but I have ran up to 11lbs with conservative timing. No issues at all if you have a good tune up and keep an eye on your plugs. Run a cold plug and conservative boost / timing it will live for many miles to come.
