Critique my Turbo Setup
This will be my first turbo build, and cant way to get back to the states to start this. I would like to have everything ready for me when I get home, so Im starting to gather parts. The trans will be a th400 and ending with a 9" rear
I have a set of tubular manifolds, intercooler, downpipe.
Would this set up work
Fuel:
A1000 Fuel pump
120# Injectors would like to run e85
-8an Fuel Line
-6an Return
Turbo:
BW S400sx-80r T6 1.32AR
RPS 50mm Bov
46mm Wastegate
Engine:
This is yet to be determined I was thinking of a 5.3L with headstuds, and a cam.
Hows this setup looking? Should I go to a 6.0 or can I get away with a 5.3L? Will the fuel be enough to run e85?
Any help would be great.
Thanks

You would be fine with -8 and -6 there are guys on here who make almost 1000 crank with the stock feed as the return. But obviously having bigger lines won't hurt just wasn't sure what you bought so far. Id suggest if your doing a single wastegate get something bigger like a tial 60mm or do twin gates like 38s. And run twin scroll.

bigger pump for sure. Weldon and then Magnafuel makes good pumps.
bigger lines is not a bad idea. You only want to do this stuff one time.
bigger wastegate or you will mechanically overrun the gate and boost will creep up higher per rpm.
If you are wanting to run e85 and you want to ever max out your turbo, I would bet you need bigger injectors. Once again. People make big mistakes by not buying the right stuff the first time. You will end up doing it later and costing twice as much.

Thats exactly what I have made this list. I will probably go up on the line size just cause.
Only thing is bought are the intercooler manifolds and a 46mm wastegate.

magnafuel 750 pump(check with SKspeed, they set up up with it for a good deal), -10 feed -8 return, you have to buy line anyway, its about the same prices. do 160's for injector, gives room on E85.
