Default New to LS1TECH looking for advice on doing an LS swap in either an E30 BMW or Miata

Hi Im really looking forward to building either an E30 BMW or a Miata. Im really looking for any advice guidelines and links as to where I can see how to go about this and what peoples opinions are for the best budget build possible. Thanks for any help advice and knowledge in advance.

My advice is go w/ a miata. They're cheaper to buy right now, there are kits for them everywhere (e30 kits seem to be in the pipeline) and so the knowledge base is pretty extensive for the swap.

If this is your first swap, it's good to not blaze the trail. When you get an idea of what really goes into a swap you can get an idea of what might go into a swap from scratch, which an e30 would be at this point, even though there are a few out there now.

If you are interested in doing a Miata here is my buddy's thread where we are building one. Most of the stuff we are putting in is self-fabricated
