I am wanting to know what a 87 cutlass 442 with 81k org. miles worth. It is in almost excellent condition inside and out. Can send pics to anyone interested. Thanks.

I keep close track of the GM 'G' bodies since I own one. The car you describe might get up to $8,000 if really nice but even that may be a stretch. The 81,000 miles is the factor here. Even though very low by normal standards it doesn't get the collector community interest that a much lower mileage example would bring. The really low mileage (sub 25,000 miles) cars usually bring prices in the teens with some selling in the high teens with one in RI this past year selling around $19,000. Once you get a bit higher in mileage the demand lessens. Look at this apparently very sweet 35,000 miles example only fetching $8,700 and not meeting reserve. It definitely is a $10,000 car but ebay isn't the proper venue. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1987-...item43b609f7ee

Thanks for the info. This one is just as clean if not cleaner. It has new oem paint. The only down fall is two small burn holes in seat and radio doesn't work but everything else does.

You're welcome! Burn holes are definitely a negative. No getting around it.
