what will it take Ive got 2002 camaro ss with 132k . Im wanting to run 6.8 - 7.0 in the 1/8 what will it take motor wise. Would it be easier and cheaper to build up my ls1 or a 6.0 from the wrecking yards. Also the car will a weekend driver.

Get a good rear end first. The stock 10b doesn't take well to drag launches with stickies.
LCA's, lose some weight on the car, power adder, tires, light weight wheels... Practice practice practice.
