Default Stock 4.8 & t76 What cam???

I have a 2000 Silverado and im putting a 4.8 in it with a T76 with a .81 AR I need to know what cam. I have been told by friends to get a 01-02 Z06 - LS6 Cam and run the LS6 springs as well... I do not have the converter already so Dur is Open.. I have to change the carrier in the rear to a locker as well so gear is an option to .. I was going to run a 3.42 ... Trans is going to be a Built 4l60e.. We have a guy that is getting 700-800 RWHP on his in cars heavier than 3800#.. This will be a daily driver and im looking for around 600-650 at the tires.. This is a project that i picked up ...

I guess thats why everybody tells me 01-02 Z06-LS6 Camshaft... I would love the LS9 profile with a rear sensor ring.. Are the 862 Heads any good?

LS6 is a good cam for your setup. Dont forget the 04-05 cts-v also had the same cam as the vettes should you come across someone selling theirs.

Its a CXracing T76 w/ .81 ar .. Its the same turbo that was used on the Big Bang Theory in the HotRod Article .. Only looking at around 17-20 psi AtoA intercooler.. Pass side log with a Truck mani on the D/S
