i hope i have this ? in right dept.anyhow I have a 98 ss m6 all stock I have owned car for years now.i jumped started my 87 gn the battery waswas dead on the gn.hour later i went out to the camaro all the gauges looked normal but i noticed no door chime & no security light & noticed the alarm was off the key fob no longer worked iwent to start car. and nothing no crank,or security light.so i tried jump starting it and no help and i tried to reset key fob.please help out a newbie too boards

Check the battery connections. A loose connection will cause this.

tried that, I did notice about 20 mins after I jumped my gn the alarm went off then later on that's when I noticed I had no crank and my battery is good

Check all your fuses next.
