Default 02 WS6 with 20k miles

Its sad to admit but I think its time for me to sell my 2002 Trans Am WS6. Its Pewter Metallic, an automatic and has only 20200 miles. Im the 2nd owner and the car is bone stock, garage kept and no rust or other mechanical issues. Clean carfax too. I love the car but its time to move on to other things. I realize its winter but springs not too far away and a stock low mileage WS6 is getting hard to find these days. I was thinking of listing it at $16500. Is that asking price within reason?

Your price is very fair and a great start for negotiations. There is no reason why you won't get $15,000+ for your car provided there are no problems. Low mileage stock examples are extremely appealing to buyers.
Unfortunately this is the slow holiday season when it comes to selling cars. Be patient during these winter months if there isn't much interest. Once March or April rolls around you will have a sale if someone doesn't ****** it up in the meantime. GLWS!!

I would start higher and come down to 16,500. IMHO its a good buy there if it's in great shape ad not abused.

Honestly a car dealer would be asking $20,000. I think the right person would pay at least $16,000. I would list it for more and come down.

You know as walked Into the storage garage today and looked at my car I realized I just cant bring myself to sell this thing. I love it too much even if I rarely get to drive it. That opinion might change in the future but for now it stays off the market. Thanks for everyones help though!

We are kind of in the same position, my 02 Formula has 18K but I have made modifications which will probably actually hurt me a bit. I know others above in response have said 16K, but end of the day, think it is just one of these things where folks are going to have to toss it out there on the market and entertain offers. I would imagine that like anything the quicker one needs to actually sell, the less ones expectation might be. Anyway, best of luck with the sale
