94 Z28- 4l60e compatibility?

94 Z28- 4l60e compatibility? Hey everyone, I'm new to the site. Seeing as you know these cars like the back of your hand, i figured i'd ask a few questions.
I just picked up a z28 for dirt cheap, it shifted fine(auto...couldnt pass up the price though) but now the clutch plate is fried and the trans needs a rebuild. I'm on a budget. I've read that I can only replace the trans with a 94-95 4l60e, as the electronics are different in others and would require extra programming to the PCM. My main question is, what 4l60e's, and what other transmissions are compatible with a 94?
