Not sure where else to put this, but has anyone tried these valve covers? http://www.ebay.com/itm/SBC-CHEVY-LS...77d05f&vxp=mtr

They sure do look good! At least the ones in the picture. The gasket flange and the fill bungs are my concern for leaks at the weld seams.

$89 for fabricated valve covers ?

Are they really cheapass'd flimsy POS's or are we just used to getting the shaft on overpriced cast ones ?

I bought some coil covers that look awsome for LS1, however they won't fit my Chevelle conversion or the truck coils, or my wastegates!!! But they look awsome, like fabbed valve covers.

There appears to be no ports or baffling for PCV, but otherwise they look nice. The pricing is very low - made in China perhaps?

I have a set sitting in my shop right know. They are not on my motor yet but look to be fairly good quality. Only time will how they will hold up once the engine gets running. The ones I bought came with the covers, gasket, bolts, and coil brackets

I've had dozens of customers call me and tell me they had nothing but issues with them then order a set of billet covers to replace them.

I wonder if they have sealing issues. I almost showed these to a friend of mine who just picked up his engine from me to have it painted. He's on a limited budget and these would look great on his car - if they're solid. I guess we will have to wait for fast89stang's report.

I have a set. I got mine and they are nice and thick, good quality. No PCV bung or anything though.. They sent me bolts that were too short though and that pissed me off, but otherwise they seal good on mine and everything.

I thought about trying to put a port in my valley, but i would have to try and figure out a way to install a baffle to keep it from sucking oil.
