TR 230/224 vs TR 227/224 cam questions
I just purchased some GTP stage II heads and am still wishy washy on the cam decision. The guys said there might be some clearence issues with the 230 cam. The car is a track only car.
Any advice from people running either cmas. I have seem the dyno graph that jason posted not a huge difference in hp. I just want to make the right choice the first time.
The car is an M6 with 4.10s and all the bolt ons.

Nice stable of cars. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
I run the Stage 2 GTPs ( truck heads milled .015 ) with the TR230 cam. No p/v clearance problems here.

The way it was explained to me is, go with the TR230 if you want to trade off a little bit of idle quality and drivability for about 5 more RWHP, and go with the TR227 if idle and ride quality are more important to you.
