Default forged 376 ls3 vs forged lq9 408

looking to upgrade my shortblock , these two options are the same price from my builder , i have mods in my sig

im looking to run the block na for a good while but plan a twin turbo set up or a A&A kit down the line ,

which one do you think is the better choice ? makes more power(faster) with weight vs power advantage ?
car is a roll racing street car , some track

also my fast is a cathedral port set up a are my heads , will this work on a ls3 ? can i upgrade my heads later to ls3 offerings ?

I think one of biggest problems or...could be a benefit, is trying to utilize the parts you already have as a decision maker.

Many people will say the iron block is best for boosted high horsepower applications (Not saying aluminum won't work), but the LS3 has superior heads and the light aluminum block.

Even though I rather have an LS3, By looking at your signature I would say you should go LQ9.

You will get the strength of an iron block plus you will be able to use a lot of your old parts. If you went LS3 I would say start over and get rectangular port head components to include heads.
