370 BW s480 e85 non intercooled build Finally time to start my build thread. Old set up was l92 headed 408 with nitrous. I never got the car to perform like i wanted thanks to a very aggressive cam grind and valve float issues.
Few pics of my old set up. And the car
New set up
823 casting heads ported
Gmpp intake with Aarons intake elbow fast 90 TB
Forged rod and piston 6.0 with stock crank
160 lbs injectors and aeromotive eliminator fuel pump with -10 line
Custom grind cam (Martin@Tick)
BW s480 turbo 80 mm compressor t6 flange 1.32 ar 96mm turbine
Truck manifolds
Jgs 60 mm BOV
Tial 60mm waste gate
No intercooler I will he running e85 and a 3 nozzle meth injection from AIS
I sure I forgot something and i will fill in missing details as I go.
Started cutting
I built brace to hold my turbo in place. I will be running solid motor mounts
merge I made I don't have a tig so my Lincoln MIG will have to do

I'm not sure on the comp. I'm thinking 11 to 1 since I'm running e85 I figured I would ask some questions along the way I have a bare 6.0 I'm going to build in Jan. The car should weight around 3400 with me in it i would like it to run in the 8's if it don't I'm gonna keep changing it up till I do.

build looks awsome ill be checking for updates, just wondering why you didnt try the 3.73 i know everyone uses a lower gear but im asking because im thinking of trying the 3.73 as i have a similary setup but will be a track only, thanks

I would have tried the 3.73s but i knew I would need a higher gear and my buddy bought a rear end from wheelsup and it hasn't been assembled yet. He had 3.08 and a spool with it and ky buddy needs 3.73 and a true trac. So I decided to trade with him.

I have decided to part my car out and go a differnt route. Plus im getting ready to go back to school. So all turbo parts are for sale in the classifieds. If you see something you want on the car send me a PM.

90% done and you are thinking about walking? you might regret it in the near future ESPECIALLY if you are going to build something else. You'll always go back to this one saying F***K!! I should of... what if I... F**K that was stupid, I should of finished!! School is cool but to dismantle something that close to completion? Reconsider buddy
