My engine loves me! I'm running on a 3.4 tune with barely a degree of KR, I'll take it until I eventually get tuned. Plus 13-14 degrees of timing is a snooze fest, I'm not worried about beating on it right now.

The sound of that 5.0 is the EXACT reason i put my stock cats back on until i got long tubes. The sound of the factory Tri-y manifolds is utter ***. Log manifolds create a better tone...Also why i put shorties on the car temporarily. Those things suck!

He has bbk cat deletes and some crappy axle back. He did just what you said. Went cheap would listen and get a off road full x pipe and GT500 mufflers. Or just get LT's back. Same reason got bbk intake cs got it used really cheap from another Guy who pulled it off after seeing no gains. And why don't run a real tune just the one that comes with sct. He don't want to pay for it.

It wasn't even an STi, just a stock turbo rexer! It was quick for one night and one night only when he brought it on on E85.... And then realized he was like 3 quarts low and has his car towed home. Shame, that was one of the few Saturday's I missed, he always wanted a rematch with my T/A since he wasn't up to snuff on pump gas....

He had almost 5k in mods on that car. And he drove it for a while low on oil. A event at Praire hill then there as well. DD like that.

I know he had tons of bolt ons but it was still stock turbo... At least he dig raced with that thing, he won't do it at all now with the 5.0. Shame he's moving to Colorado in a couple days, he's gonna miss Austin.
