I have one with a 58t reluctor out of a very low mileage '05 Corvette. Not hard to change to 24t. $200 + the ride, LMK.

I have an LS2 crank with a 58t reluctor out of a very low mileage '05 Corvette. Not hard to change to 24t. $200 + the ride.

I also have a crank from a 6.0 iron block, excellent condition w/ 24t reluctor, $150 + the ride LMK.

I also have one from an LS1 in excellent condition w/24t reluctor, $125 + the ride. LMK if interested.

If i were to drop in a non-LS2 crank, would i notice that it's not perfectly balanced?

Some say the weights are so close it wouldn't matter, while others simply say "it needs balanced." Trying to fix my friend's car on a tight budget.

On the reluctor wheel topic, what is the step-by-step procedure to replacing one? Is the alignment tool mandatory?

If you use a 6.0L iron block crank it should be no problem since both the 6.0 and the LS2 have the same bore and the same rods. I would not use an LS1 crank with LS2 pistons with out a re balance.

Ok, so how much for that LQx crank shipped to Newark, DE 19711?

Also, what year is it? And is it out on an LQ4 or LQ9?

Looks like about $80 for 60# to your zip...
