Its about time!!!!!!!
I just did a heads and cam install and have a 10.6 static compression ratio with a dcr of 8.75. I am running heads that flow 310/210 with a comp cam 228/230 .571/.573 on a 112+4. The cam is very close to the 228r texas speed. I was wondering where I should be on WOT timing 24-26-27-28? If any one knows or has this setup please reply. Its a 2000 ws6 trans am with ls1.

Really, no one is going to help me out. I found an article in high performance Pontiac and found a tune on a 224/230 .588/.588 on a 114 on 91 octane tune that ran a wot total timing of 26 degrees. I am going to dyno my car tomorrow and figure it out, I was just wondering what anyone else was running just to give me a baseline.

I have 10.7:1 SCR 233.239 .598 .603 113LSA... forged 347ci LS6 in a C5Z... running 28* of timing from 6200rpm to Redline... Its very hard to say what your car will like for ignition advanced...
The dyno is where you would be best to play.. Trying different AFR/Timing Combination until you find the right one for your ENTIRE SETUP...
Just because Im running ported 243's Fast 92mm intake and Kooks LTs with XXX cam doesnt mean your car will respond the same as mine to set timing tables.. For instance my heads are milled and Im running a Diamond Piston with Probe Lightweight Rods.. These 2 things alone can make a drastic diffenence in what the engine will respond to certain AFR/Timing Combos.. Let alone Altitude, Fuel, Intake Track, etc...
