Who got a Frost Tune?
I got my PCM back today and there is no paperwork....
How do you know what was done to it? I know I sent in a request form, but wouldn't you expect some kind of invoice that states that what you asked for is was done?
All I got was a PCM in a box with my paypal receipt.

Should try emailing him. When I sent mine off, I didn't get a list of work did, but when I looked on his site, it basically states whats done for bolt on cars and that's all mine was. He did make a note for me to descreen my MAF though. When I do my heads and cam I am getting a dyno and street tune for it. How extensive were your modifications? Frost has a very good reputation. I'm waiting to do a dyno pull and check my A/F ratio before I start doing any WOT pulls.

I had quite a few mods actually...
Heads, Cam, exhaust, injectors, intake, TB....it was a huge list.
I would have expected a reference sheet for peace of mind knowing it wasn't mixed up with someone else ECM etc...

Easier said than done. You must have never dealt with Frost. He doesn't have a phone number and email replies are rare.
I'm just seeing if I'm an exception or the norm. I don't want to know specifics, just something that stated " tuned for xxxxxx"
I just expected something showing that something was done and I didn't get someone else's tune

I got tuned by him & emailed him with a question. He absolutely replied. after emailing him just give him a little breathing room to answer. I am told he is a busy guy and emails come after his work load.

Paper work is probably not put in because that would Add TONS of time in the day to workload.
I personally do 30+ tunes a day via mailorder, and for me to put a paper in with the list when sometimes there are hundreds of changes would take for ever to do and would just bring up more questions from the customers on how and why.. It would bring down the number of tunes to 10-15 and would make things a wreck.. So I fully understand why he would not include anything in the box with it. There are just to many things that would have to be put down on the list. Especially for stuff like heads/cam / supercharger stuff..
Put in the computer, if it works, then enjoy it. If it is the wrong pcm it wouldn't start, due to the Vin number and antitheft mismatch, and usually as mail order goes, the customers computer is pulled from the box, worked on, then put right back in the box, it isn't like they all get put in a big pile and hope for the best....

sure, he could print a change log or something of the sorts, but I'm sure if presented with that people would ask for more once again. And the change log can be faked from the actual. NOT saying it is, but you could.
He is a trustworthy person and has been doing this for years, I spoke with him just as he was getting into this many moons ago. Very knowledgeable and nice guy.

As for what you say on tuners don't want you to see, that is not valid. 90% of all tuners out there do not lock their computers. If you want to see what is done, buy the software and compare the tune to stock.. It is that simple. However, again, it is to save time. Nothing more...
