Default Rebuilt 4l60e started slipping in 3rd...

Had my 4l60e rebuilt by a local shop (i know the guy who actually rebuilds trannys in this shop) and this past thursday it started slipping again in 3rd and OD (same issue as before it was rebuilt).. Car has Head/Cam and i recently added a 150 wet shot, so i'm assuming that has a lot to do with the tranny prematurely wearing out. I'm going to have them go throught it but i'm thinking i need to go with something from one of the vendors like PerformaBuilt or RPM.. If i add a window switch to shut off the shot at like 58-6k rpms would that help the tranny live longer??? While i save for a PB or RPM unit..

I had a real bad 2-3 shift flare that was cured for the time being by adding 1 measuring cup of fluid over the full line...might be worth a shot.
