Default Odd window motor issue

I replaced my driver side motor ~2yrs ago and it has worked fine daily up until this week. When rolling down, it hangs about every 3inches and goes 'pop pop pop pop' which Ive concluded is the express down. I can push 'up' and it stops or I can push down on the glass and it continues down until another 3in where it repeats the above issue. At the very bottom it pops until I briefly hit 'up'.

when rolling up, its nice and fast and does not hang up at all

WTH could this be?

TIA

The motor is not secure.

Did you use nuts/bolts to secure the motor to the regulator? If so, they are probably coming loose. The pop pop pop is the motor gear popping out of the regulator gear.

Loctite may be what you need...
