Default Dana 60 rear end

I have a Dana 60 12 bolt in my 02 SS. I have a concern though, between shifts it makes a noise (clunking). Doesn't do it during driving, but overall it just seems quite loud compared to my old 10 bolt.

Is this common? If not, what can I do to fix this?

I'm honestly not sure....

I figured that it was just the rear end, wanted to see if anyone else had similar experiences.

Well I think I found the source, I have quite a few solid mounts, I think polyurethane. So it's just a noisy ride.

The noise I'm trying to describe may be confused for something else. I'm double checking everything under the car and haven't come across a problem...yet.

It is either a S60 or a 12 bolt not both. The poly bushings should have no effect on shifting. What type diff? Are you A4 or M6?

It's a dana s60, its an m6. I'm still waiting on the seller to mail reciepts and parts lists of the car to figure out exactly whats done to the car.
