Default lookin for input on a cam

I recently picked up a 2000 trans am.its a m6 with a lid, smooth bellow,3.73 gears, mac mid length headers, borla catback.ran a best of 12.9 with a 2.1 or 2.2 60 foot.the guy i got it from says its never been sprayed but the bolts in the hatch, switch in the ashtray, and maf translator tell me different.im lookin to get into the tens cam only with spray.would prefer to keep the shot on the smaller side.i have been lookin into the trex cam and ms4 but have been told from a buddy to ask pat g about a custom grind.not lookin to spend alot but also not trying to cheap out as i plan on goin with a lq4 built for boost once the car is payed off.

you need a better exhaust system, and upgrade the suspension.you will need DRs.the bigger EPS cams will do better then a trex or ms4 cam.

Definitely worth checking out more, give Martin and a call and tell him what you want and he can set you up.

So switch to long tubes?the cars got lca's, sfc's,adj torque arm and panhard rod.I checked out the polluter cam, considering goin with v1 because with the v2 there is a chance you have to flycut the pistons.

You're gonna need headers. And a prayer that the rear end doesn't explode with all that power putting it to the ground.

I would suggest if you are doing a cam to get some 243/799 heads while you are at it, they can be had for fairly cheap these days. You are going to have shitty driveability with enough of a cam to run 10's w/o doing heads.

I would go with a custom grind. It will not cost much more compared to an off the shelf grind.
