Packy Versus Slobra With Pics Of Lunch Meet There was so much traffic out yesterday, that it was extremely hard to bump a run off so we only had one run. It was a close race with Packy getting past him. We were behind him, so it was hard to tell by how far Packy was out front, if I had to say...about half a car.
Camera man had his camera set to pictures and the run happened so fast that he didn't have time to turn it back on video. Packy is a 2.3 Whipple with full exhaust and drag pak and the Slobra is a Kenne Bell 2.2 with bolt ons.
He was going to try and get a run with a nasty 402 GTO (cam in the GTO sounded like it would eat small children and pets), but couldn't because of too much traffic.
Here are some pictures from us going to meet up for lunch.

If you look at the picture, you will see a exit ramp...we had to turn onto that exit ramp.
LoL, have to admit it would be crazy cool to see them race onto a exit ramp and try to make it double wide in the 180 degree turn

Well the one race had went like this. We were rolling down the highway at about 60mph and Slowbra started pacing me. We were on an uphill so I figured he would wait until we cleared it but nope. I heard a honk which was his second honk so i started to downshift. On the next honk he started moving so I grabbed third immediately and went WOT. I started about a half a car back. I wound third out and had about a car or so on him shifted fourth and he fell way back. Later he said that once I pulled a car on him he let out.
The red GTO just had a 402 stroker installed but he was skeerd of the Cobra since it bit him bad when he had H/C/I. He wants some N2O before he tries again.
