cool

do you have valve covers that don't hit on the top toward the intake.

Funny you ask.....that has not been fun. tried 2 styles of valve covers, PRW for one with the clearanced rails (side toward the intake) ...no go, I really liked the covers to. Had to sell them at a loss. Currently have 1/2" spacers that I had to grind the crap out of. Not sure if this is the final solution as I have put the car away for the winter. I really dont like the way it is now, so plan to do some more work on the issue. The spacers I have dont really fit the heads super tight so they slide toward the bottom of the heads resulting in the face of the rockers coming in contact with the spacers. Not sure what I will do next but have to do something to correct the problem. I even called T&D for suggestions and the were no help. They basically said it's your problem. They said get custom covers made, like I have a grand for custom billet covers laying around. I'll get it figured out eventually.

PS...Nice times with your Mustang!!

Default T&D shaft rocker valve covers

I have a set of T&D shaft rockers and went through the same thing. I tried using a set of 1/2" spacers with the stock valve covers. This required a lot of grinding and they still didn't clear. I ended up buying some cast aluminum valve covers from Katech. They fit with no mods.

1/2" spacers

Thanks

I have heard they are kind of a pain. Also heard that the Allpro covers fit.

You can order the Crane valve covers with the OEM bolt holes for the coil bracket. I have a set.

I think the Proform LS covers fit too and have a coil mounting option: http://www.proformparts.com/category...formance_Parts

I have T&D rockers. Measured for these covers, and it will work. Already looked into this. Ordering mine soon.

Roger: Which Proform # did you use I had to take a little material from the cylinder head behind the rocker (toward the intake manifold side) to get them to clear. Did you have to remove material from the valve cover rail?
