Help me build a monster street cruizer
Hi guys. Ive been watching everyones builds, and trying to get ideas for my build. Heres what I have so far for my 67 Chevelle
06 LQ4
4l80e
318 and 243 heads
ls2 intake, still need throttle body(which size?) Fuel rails
Probly cheap ebay stainless headers for now. Upgrade to Dougs longtubes after I get the car itself squared away.
Going to run a Torq Storm Supercharger setup probly 8-10lbs boost
Going to use radiator and electric fans from my 98 ws6 donar car
-What I need help deciding is which cam and engine setup should I build to get roughly 600whp with the supercharger. Going to run meth injection, no intercooler.
-What size and brand injectors should I get. Similar builds are about 60lbs
-What should I upgrade in the motor. Timing chain, rod hardware, etc
My goals with the car is to have a daily reliable, fun driving car, that can slide around and scare me at will. Lol. The car will be setup with ridetech air ride shockwave setup, tubular a-arms. Big sway bars, not shur what brand. Mini Tubbed, 12 bolt rear end with probably 325/40/18 rears 275/40/17 fronts.
Thanks for your help, Im ready to start buying parts! lol

90mm tb to match the snout of the LS2 intake
Stock LS2 rails are ok and cheaper to plumb
Googled the Torque Storm, looks like quality stuff.
Id recommend a custom cam as its pretty much the same price as an off the shelf one. Lots of sponsors can help with that. Tick Performance is one.
Check out Fuel Injector Connection for some 60-80lb injectors for around 400
Make sure the engine is in sound condition, at least install some ARP head bolts at minimum and freshen up the valve springs. You dont need much at that level
Post some pics of the car when you get a chance.

making 6mpg or 26 mpg
3x the price. 1/3 the price
also i would go to a ls6 intake over the ls2
600 wheel. you could throw arp 2000 rod bolts. ls6 cam and have all the fun in the world it seems lately. but spending the coin for it done right. good heads from tsp trick flow etc. maybe pistons and rods and a custom spec'd cam. all about what the budget is

The torque storm stuff kinda looks like the old garbage powerdyne blowers, hopefully looks is where the similarities stop lol.
