Anyone ever used TEA 1.5's on stroker setup?
Ive got a iron block, 4.0 stroker (409"), 238/248 @ 112, all the bolt ons (headers, harland rockers, ls6 intake, 11.5:1 compression).
Ive got a new set of TEA 1.5's i was going to use on the motor since they save me about a $1500 over TEA stg 3's.
Has anyone ever seen any dyno sheets of these smaller heads on a big inch stroker and if it worked well?? Id like to see 450-475 through the th350 minimum. If its not enough head, im going to have to postpone the project till i can afford the bigger heads.

TEA has heads for bigger cube combos AFAIK.

I think TEA heads are an outstanding choice for your project but I would go with the 6.0 head or an LS6 TEA head Stage 2 or higher with at least 2.05 valves. TEA 1.5's have 2.02's which are right the mark for a 3.9 bore. A 4.0 inch bore really should have 2.08 intake valve for best results.
Going bigger than a 2.02 will probably require a Stage 2 or higher head. Likewise, if your play to spray I think the more durable aftermarket Ferrea valve in the Stage 2 and up heads would be a good choice IMO. Also if your spraying ask TEA about their NOS exhaust port. BTW their NOS port works pretty well for NA stuff too in many applications.
