Ran a Grandsport tonight in my new toy. Fixed all my boost leaks so decided to take it out for a night.

Just curious, how does a GS stack against a c5z? and other vettes? This is the first ls3 vette I've raced so I'm kind of curious.

C6 - bone stock
SC300 - 1jz, 61mm T3 turbo, 20psi, pump gas

I was pretty surprised as to the outcome of the race. Thought he was going to slaughter me. We were pretty much back and forth through out all the races last night.


Unbolted my small pipping axle back and was able to edge him out every run.

dang nice work.

there's a guy around here with a 1jz sc300. I think he said he gas stock 2 j turbos on it. he made around 315 whp hitting the speed limiter on the dyno. I still managed to put a cpl cars on him with my bolt on 99 fbod.
