Default TTI 4th gen twin kit 777rwhp @10lb's

Posted by owner of the car.

Ttix f body
Started tuneing today so far 92oct pump gas/ no meth /10lbs boost/ real safe tune
and a failing torque converter so we stopped 777 rwhp and 6xx foot lbs
so time to order another torque converter(neal chance) is what i think were going to get
i have a video and will post as soon as i figure out how the converter started flashing
at 6300 rpm then up and up till 7000 even after it cooled down(getting worse and worse)
george said the turbos were still sleeping lol and once we fix the converter we
will be able to add meth and make the turbos go to work......he even smiled
we did take it for a lil ride tho all i can say is its very entertaning........like it is now:d

Posted by TTI

I'm going to find a better converter or send this one back, it started out good flashing to 5800 but after 6 runs the flash was almost to the chip. The motor runs well, it made 660rw with the exhaust closed and 786 with cut outs open, it has a lot left but I've done so many with this turbo combo I sure it will go over 1000rw. I'm going to tie up a few loose ends and let my customer drive the car for a while and get use to it.

I was thinking the same thing. I think it's a very stealthy exhaust. Also the numbers should be higher but the torque converter couldn't hold the torque.

Id like to hear the motor + turbo combo making that kind of power on 10#`s through a crap converter and bad exhaust. Im sure its no stock ls1 up in there.

exhaust is what george had to do to get to muffler........
we/he is very positive that once we go meth race gas and get the
converter changed (they really missed on it) it should go north of 1000 rwhp
he said the turbos were still asleep i sure hope so

You know what's funny is the numbers George qoutes are always very conservative. Chris Stewart's car made 1000rwhp and George designed the kit for 500-650 area. So when he says a 1000rwhp I say I bet it makes that without breaking a sweat.
