Default Wanting to do the "2003 trans am retro spoiler"

Does everyone remember the spoiler from that car? It looked like the same one on the Camaro.

Has anyone else besides that white T/A done this? I really wanna try this out on my car. I can live with the stock T/A spoiler but.. it still looks like it belongs on a spaceship.

This is on a firebird but..

Default Spoiler

I support you -

I love that spoiler - and yes I respect the space ship spoiler -BUT.... the retro spoiler makes the car look more serious and that it can be taken serious -rather than the slightly over the top spoiler !!

We should do a group buy- anyone know the manufacture of that spoiler ???

Imo i dont really like it, it doesnt really go with it. Maybe its because it looks really tall maybe it would look better if it was shorter.

I'd like to see more pics of it. Is it a camaro hatch with that spoiler on it? It reminds me of that special edition widebody camaro that no one makes pieces for. I can't remember the name of it though.

That looks horrible IMO, maybe go with something more like this if you must:

I think it's just the sides that need special attention they're kind of out there. other than that, i bet it'd look nice with a trans am bumper

I like that style spoiler...someone on here did the switch last year along with a custom hood. I'll see if I can find the thread. It looked good.

Yea true. If i would ever mess with my spoiler which i dont plan on doing i think i would put the firebird one on, i think it looks pretty nice especially with the ram air hood.

that Camaro someone was thinking about is probably the Dick Herell (sp?) widebody edition. Its blue with yellow lettering i think..its shown up in a few magazines and personally i think its sick looking.

Now that spoiler on this..its the 'brickyard' style i absolutely love...the rear looks 'unfinished' however and that car looks good but parts dont really flow that well..

this is actually a kind of cool look, but it reminds me of the mid ninety's Monte Carlos spoiler from the Z 34 and it kind of makes it seem less aggressive than what it should

Yes that's what I was trying to remember. The Dick Herell edition Camaro!

I wish I could've done my exhaust like that blue and yellow camaro with the boom tubes! I love side exhaust!

It's not a bad look. I'd say it's probably the best aftermarket piece you could get but....nothing beats stock IMO...

I came very close to a lip spoiler when I painted mine, but I agree, I like the stock wing.
