Default rear coil over question

Recently, I have had rear Strange single coil overs installed on my 93 Camaro. The Spring rate is 100 with a hyper coil spring. I noticed soon after, that the space between the bump stops which are new, and the axle is tiny and the bump stops seem to be hitting. I am thinking there may not be enough travel space between the bump stop and the axle? The Camaro is sitting significantly lower now and I have noticed that the shocks are mounted as high as they can go on the Coil overs, so raising the car up does not seem possible. I am wondering what I can do to increase travel and stop bottoming out. I have already tried firming up the shocks as well with the adjustment ****.
Thanks for any advice!

The springs aren't long enough, or frankly stiff enough (that's a bit softer than stock springs but that can be good for weight transfer).

I'm a Hypercoil distributor, I can get you new springs that are longer. You have plenty fo room there to go even 2" longer which would give you a lot more range up, and still be able to go down if you want. The springs aren't a lot of money, $65-75 each depending on the length and ID (assuming they are 2.5", but I don't know for sure).

Are you sure about that spring rate? I would think a 100 pound mounted in the front like that would coil-bind in a hurry. Remove the spring and check the number engraved into the end, and also measure the height of the spring and then let us know.

Hi, Thanks for the reply's and advice. I looked at the order sheet from Strange and it indicates we purchased 2.5x14 100 pound springs. What weight spring would you recommend going to? Also would a height increase be beneficial. 175 or 200 would that be enough?
Thanks again, this is very helpful!

Well, you are going to want a 16" spring, and I'd say 150 (which happens to be the rate I use on my rear springs, but you can also do 175).

That would gain you 2" up if you want it, and more support for the weight of the car. They'd be about $82.50 each.
