Confused... Can Oldsmobile TH-400 bolt to 5.3??

Thumbs up Confused... Can Oldsmobile TH-400 bolt to 5.3??

I have an oldsmobile th-400 thats been rebuild before I scrapped the car, wus windering if that trans would maate with the 5.3 motors and if so would I need the same flexplate as the chevy th-400? the trans was in a 1973 olds 88. I heard some say no and some say yes but no one whos actually done it and jus thought id see what u guiys had2 say about it thanks...

someone makes an adapter plate for BOP to chevy block-as i remember, something like 2 of the same bolts line up

Im really new2 the build my car scene, so if im not mistaken i counted 6 bolt holes and 2 dowel pin holes,, does this count as a total of 8 holes??? And u said 2 of the bolts lineup, is this with the adapter plate or b4?

K thanks, so now I use the chevy flexplate after I get the BOP adapter?
