Default Factory sized lower ball joints

Raybestos and Moog are both 20 thousandths bigger in diameter than factory ball joints. Unless the the arm has had it's joint removed and replaced several times this makes "oversized" ball joints like the Moog a pain to press in.

Moog, AC Delco, and Raybestos ***-u-me that all control arms have boogered up lower ball joint holes. They oversize the joint, and that makes it a pain to press in new ones.

So, my question is are there any factory sized replacement lower ball joints around?

What are you using to press them in? If it's that cheap Autozone rental tool, good luck with that. A local shop had no issues pressing my Moog lower ball joints into the stock arms.

Shop press, couldn't get the ball joint to go in straight.

I answered my own question. They are definitely not pressed in all the way. Went in at an angle, which can be seen better through a hole on the bottom next to the shock mount holes. These things are murder.
