Default Now what.. @$%^

I have noticed the last couple of weeks, since the weather has gotten below freezing over night, that when I start my car in the morning it backfires a little, and if i try to take off before it warms up, it doesnt want to go. It wants to stall. Well, this morning it did stall. And then didnt want to start back up. It was turning and turning but nothing. I popped the hood and smelled raw fuel. So I believe it somehow flooded. I waited about 5 min, turned the key again while pumping the gas pedal and it fired up. Warmed up and drove perfectly fine.

Any ideas as to whats going on here?

If actually "flooded" you hold it on the floor, just like with a carb. It's called Clear Flood Mode. Pumping it adds fuel, same as with a carb.

Mine runs rough when its cold too. I give her about 10 minutes to idle and catch her breath and she's good to go. I try to let it run at least until the temp comes off the peg before I go anywhere.

Many things can cause that. You need to have it diagnosed. Too rich for some reason if you have to hold it down to start it. To verify that just pull a spark plug. Souls be black if it's that rich.
