Moser 9 inch with a full spool. Shooting for 500 at the wheels.

Imo, a 9inch is the only way to go. 12 bolts are hit or miss. Some have great luck, others start whining after a few hard launches. And a d60 is just too big and heavy.

Really depends on auto or m6,i would say its way more a hit or miss with a 9inch then a 12bolt,i have heard alot of people that loved there 12bolt,went to a 9 and hated it,it depends though,if your an auto a 12bolt would be fine,if your a m6 spring for the 9

9" and the S60 are the strongest. Will be enough to handle 500+ rwhp. I run an S60 w/spool.

Why did they hate the 9 inch?

Im still stuck with a 10 bolt ... For Now

I plan on MWC 9" rear end with spool and 2" removed from each axle for bigger wheel use.

Ill just go with a 9" in case you ever go bigger on power, you never know if you do, but that 9" will always be there

I have a Moser 12 bolt with 3.73 and T56. I used to love 12 bolts but it whines now after some abuse and I am not even near hitting my goal of 450 - 500 rwhp yet. I am running bolt ons and ET streets with a good clutch and suspension.

Thanks for the replys guys. I always planned on getting the 9" especially since after i go past 500 its only up from there. I was checking the mosers ones out and it seems like thats what everybody gets. Also after putting so much money intothe suspension i wish i could just start on the power but i believe im in the wrong if i dont upgrade this first. What goes along with this upgrade?

Fab 9 if you can afford it for the ultimate setup. S60 is what I have and its super affordable compared to others and super strong as well. Good for 600tq, more if you choose a spool. Anyone who complains about it being too heavy probably has never had one or driven one. Yes it is heavier but you would never know driving.the car.. No SOTP difference at all on the track I went 7.96 best time with a 10bolt and 7.85 best time to date with a 60 so you tell me.. no other mods in between either, just able to drive the ***** of it

I recently ordered a S60, They are about 15lbs heavier than a 9 inch and have less parasitic drag because the pinion is not offset as much. Not to mention Strange builds a great product.

Im not to restricted on the money but im also not really trying to overdue it as i want to begin the motor summer time. The car is a M6, stock as it sits right now. Ive already started taking care of the things i wanted to before power such as suspension which all i have left are some sfc's that a guy is building for me. Id like to run 305-315. I dont think im going to go much past 550-600. So now i want to get the car ready for the power. Im probably going to go with a stage 3 or 4 clutch i dont know which yet ( i was going to ask that eventually haha). But i think im going to start with the Rear and gears... new driveshaft?

I mean you can do the S60, it will hold strong for the power you will be making and save you more bucks for your engine build. The thing is if you ever go bigger and start using slicks thats when the concern comes in to place and thats where you will benefit from the 9" it all depends on what your goals are for now and the future. As far as the clutch goes I recomend the stage 4 from Monster, will hold up to your needs.
