Wait for mods that actually influence the breathing characteristics of the engine. No need to do it now. Dyno tune is always better if the tuner knows what they're doing.

I did a mail order tune, but had a big more work than you do, and picked up some noticable power. I can't tell you how much by number, but it was enough for my passangers to notice.

If you plan on doing heads/cam/intake, or anything like that, I would hold off on getting it tuned. If you're keeping your bolt ons for a long time, a mail order tune is never a bad idea.

if you put a stock TB back on you don't need a tune....if not yes or tranny failure will be close behind. That is the only item on your mod list that triggers the need for a PCM adjustment. Just adjusting line pressure for the TB will not give you any power gains...just save your tranny. If you already have a transgo kit in the tranny, tell the tuner

The larger TB at this level of mods is not going to yield any performance gain but will effect transmission line pressure as the TPS is now reading diffrent

a mail order tune would be fine for the PCM adjustment to address the larger TB. Add a 160 stat and run 91 or 93 if available octane and you can also get enhanced tuning which will make more power with your current mods. Not adding the 160 stat and higher octane really won't allow the timing advances without detonation

at this level of mods a mail order tune is fine. dyno is always better as each car is diffrent but frankly you really won't see much if any diffrence between the two with your mods between dyno and mail order

Quick Reply: Would a dyno tune or mail order tune be worth the price with my mods??
