Nitrous Oxide - 15 lb NOS bottle + NX opener + in the tire well-> FIT?

I am planning on getting the NOS dry kit. It comes with a 15 lb bottle. If I also get the NX bottle opener, will the setup fit in the spare tire well? Does anyone have this setup and can post some pics?

There's no way I could see it fitting! I've got the 10lb. bottle w/opener and the motor housing presses up against the plastic cover right now. I cant imagine <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> A 15lb.er in there , but I sure would like to <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

this might not help but its the 10lb. before I got the bottle opener.

Thanks BOTTLEBABY for the pic. It looks pretty tight in there already, even with your NX 10 lb bottle. However, I've heard that the NOS 15 lb bottle is about the same length as the NX 10 lb bottle, but the circumference is larger…but I'm just not sure. I guess I need a pic from a NOS guy.

excuse me for budding in, but since Lens has his question answered im going to ask one. Ive been hanging around this forum doing searches and what not because im learning about nitrous before i think about investing in it. Having said that,

you asked about the NX bottle opener, sooo why not get the NOS bottle remote opener. Heck youre getting the 5177 kit from NOS why not get all NOS??? Am i senceing that it's isn't good?

So I guess the TNT 15 lb bottle is about the same size as the NOS 15 lb bottle?

R U A LS1, I don't want to get the NOS opener, because it is just another solenoid that sits on the NOS line and doesn't physically open the bottle. You still have to open the bottle manually. The NX bottle opener sits directly on the bottle and has a motor that physically cranks the bottle open at the press of a button.

Only way I can see it fitting is if you remove the speaker and the speaker grill and have the opener come out there.

I have a 15lb bottle in my spare tire well and it's tight, not enough room for an opener unless I positioned the bottle so that the opener (the NX one) would come out the top of the speaker panel.

He says "it does fit".

Mine fit! I just took the speaker out and squeezed it in. I did have to heat the grill with a blow dryer, press it down, and sorta melt it to fit.
