Bolt on Mach 1 outran a GT500 ....well kinda. I just got done putting some new control arms in the car so I wanted to see how she hooked now vs stock arms. As I pulled out I saw a red GT500 with white stripes. I figured what the hell, I know I'll lose by it will be fun. His tag read "Cobra R" 
Getting to the good part. I turned onto a road with him right behind me. I dropped it down into 2nd gear and he shot to the lane next to me. We both punched it and he was at my back bumper. I hit 3rd.....then 4th. And around 100mph he sllllllowly came by me and then hit the brakes. The eaton wasn't loud over my exhaust but you coul definately hear it screaming. Honestly I expected to get my feelings hurt, but didn't.
Pretty impressed with my little Mach. I can't wait to see what happens once I put some go fast mods on it! 
So Automach if you do take up my offer and want to run your GT500 against my Mach at the track. I hope for your sake you don't come stock.

LoL, I have no idea. I don't live anywhere close to Darlington and have only been there twice. I just know that is the best compromise for you and us at the coast.
Best thing would be you look at what would work for you and see if the track is open at that time and then see what the rest of our schedules look like.
