Selling my '98 Corvette glass top coupe as a complete vette sort of...
I stripped most of my racing stuff off and was in process of returning it back to stock when I ran out of time and had to move to California for my new job.
Drove the car around for 30 minutes, re-checked everything and no leaks. Then the newly re-built trans that I spent $950 on just quit completely. No forward motion at all. I can't catch a break with this car. I'll never try to de-mod a vette again.

Car has never been wrecked, it was repainted 2 years ago to fix rock chips. Painted bumper, hood, fenders, doors, mirrors and blended to rear fenders. Looks great and has been protected under the wrap all this time.
Body is black and perfect condition, has had a full vinyl wrap on it for last 2 years. Wrap has been pulled off recently.
It has been re-pinned with a '01 PCM for when I was running turbo 2 BAR SD and Stg 7 RPM A4. Now has a stock SD tune in it with only idle tuning done.(ran out of time to tune it.)
It's got a used truck 5.3 iron block I got from my buddy when he did a 408 stroker swap. Pulled from '01 Silverado with 52,000 miles.
Has freshly rebuilt heads, Mellings high pressure oil pump, 215/227 114 LSA cam, stock exhaust, good cats and welded on SS x-pipe, no axle back mufflers at this time.
New LS7 lifters, trays, head gaskets, front timing set, gaskets, and oilpan gasket.
LS6 intake and stock throttle body.
all new a/c system, compressor/condenser/dryer/orifice/oil/freon. Manual control a/c.
Fresh built 4L60 with 20 miles and now it's dead in the water. (just spent $1k getting it refreshed. I got ripped off on this one I guess.)
PTC 4000 stall single disc (Less than 1,000 miles on it)
RPM built Stg 3 diff 3.42's (always ran Royal Purple and posi additive) about 10k miles.
SFI spec flexplate with ARP bolts.
Pfadt motor mounts
Fastbird Line lock
black stock non-sport seats
Deep dish ZR1 rims 17x9.5 and 17x11
Brand new rear NT05R drag radials 315/17
85% tread front Nitto 555 275/17
LED Halo taillights (have not been tinted)
HID low beam headlights
Less than 1k miles on entire brake setup.
TPS silver zinc coated dimpled rotors (all 4)
Hawk HPS pads (all 4)
SS brake lines (all 4)
AMS OIL 600 racing brake fluid
QA1 Single adjustable racing shocks (all 4) only 8k miles on them. Worked great at drag strip.
Converted to C5Z front and rear springs and swaybars. Did this after I bought the car. It handles really well with shocks turned to stiff settings.
Both electric windows and door locks work great.
ABS and TCS work great, never had issues.
Trunk was cut out for single rear mount 80mm turbo setup that I had built. Now has custom diamond plate cover with wingnuts. Works great.
If car is going to be kept and driven it needs: working trans, finished tune, and axle back mufflers.
If it's going to be stripped or turned into a race car then have at it.
I'm just trying to pay it off at this point and lose the money I just spent trying to return it to stock. I can't finish working on it, cause I'm now in California and the vette is still in Texas at my buddies house.
Odometer has 90,000 miles on it.
$6,900 and bring a trailer.
No trades, just need cash to pay it off. Clean title, just need to payoff the lien thru USAA and then you get the title for it.
