It has begun. Just getting started on my build. Figured i would start with the pictures of progress.

This build may take several more months but will update as i get more done...

Let me know what you think...

Its a stock ls1 6speed car

More parts to come but this is where im at so far....

I think you might have some issues keeping it spooled with the 6spd. Other than that, nice welds!

My friend David doing all fabbing. He does excellent work. I bought the turbo big enough to move up to a forged 370 when factory ls lets go. I know it will be little laggy.

Get the right cam and it should spool just fine, that and the tune. Fab work looks good, good luck with it.

This x2! Really needs correct cam timing and mainly overlap for a 6 speed turbo car.

First I didn't realize you were in Statesville!!! Nice to see a fellow NC resident!

For your unique situation I feel there is no off the shelf cam that will fit your build, so a custom cam would be in order. What I would need first is some information in regards to what parts you'll be utilizing in your application such as the cylinder heads, valve size, intake/exhaust port size, compression, intake manifold, rear gear, weight of the car and there are more that I have saved in my cam spec sheet if you want to fill it out I can give you a much better idea.

lol what about all stock and more stock untouched long block haha.... only gonna push 9 psi...... this is a budget build.....Just wanna have some fun till one day i get my 370 built. It will have all the goodies.... You think i would really benefit that much to be worth the cost of cam/springs/pushrods with boost on factory untouch ls1???

stock 3.42 gears also......

i mean i know stock internals not gonna hold forever so not gonna wanna put a grand in a cam upgrade for 40 rwhp
