alternator keeps going bad after tune

Default alternator keeps going bad after tune

i have been thru 3 alternators in less then 100 miles lost the first one while it was getting tuned.any ides why it keeps going out? gauge reads about 14-15volts all the time,could a tune do this

If the gauge reads 14-15 volts all the time, then what makes you think anything is wrong with the alternator?

when it goes bad the check gauges light comes on and it reads 8-10 volts.when i said all the time i meant while idling or hard in it

Check your alternator exciter wire. Bet its on the fray.
