Default Stand-Alone Wet Kit Guys.... STEP IN!!

Im hoping to start my first Stand-Alone wet kit Nitrous install in the near future.. .

Im thought Id start this thread to see some pics of everyones Stand-Alone Wet Kits and maybe find out what kind of fuel you guys are using in the tank... (C16, VP N2o Blend, 91/93 octane, etc...) And what jet sizes your throwing at for each fuel...(150shot, C16, .32 Jet, H/C LS2)....

so lets see it or hear about it!!

I'm using a cold fusion stand alone on a Wilson plate. I run 110 in it with a 82n and 73f.

Here is ours for the C5. 255 pump in tank, aeromotive regulator, comes with low and high pressure springs so that you can choose what you want to run

I have this setup and it works great on my c5z.

Neil, does it matter if the return port is on the top or bottom of the remote fuel tank? Do you have a picture of the inside of the remote tank by any chance?
Mine has fuel, can see in.

It doesn't matter either way. Some of ours are bottom and some are top.

I will have to dig for some pictures. If not we are going to be finishing some up next week.

When I had my trans am I was using a nitrous outles standalone that was for a GTO. I relocated the battery to the rear wheel well. Don't remember the specific jets or pressure I was running it at but I had direct port and was using C16.

I used a NX SAFE system with nothing but C16 in the main tank and in the stand a lone, a 82N jet and a 32F jet on 38PSI FP. I DO NOT recommend anyone else go out and use that tune-up as it will most likely blow your engine up from being too lean. That is just what my set-up wanted.

If you're running EFI fuel pressure of 58psi then it will probably need a .23F jet.

Low or high pressure. It really is up to you. A pound on low pressure makes more of a difference in AFR than a couple of pounds on the high pressure. We like low pressure when tuning but we have a lot of customers running high pressure.

As Neal said, and it doesn't get said a lot, low pressure allows for a much more fine adjustment to be made and normally responds better to a pressure change. I had to go all the way from 58psi on my .082n jet tune-up to 38psi just to get the AFR even close to where it needed to be to start tuning to my likes(12.0+ AFR from where it started at 10.6-10.8). It would of only taken a .75-1.0psi change to see that same swing with a low pressure system.

My fuel psi in my standalone remains at 55-60 psi, but I also had to drop 10+ fuel jet sizes to get the n/f ratio in the 12s.

I'm assuming you have a high psi spring in your regulator? Mine is set at 60 psi.
